T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for June 17, 2003

Good Morning!

One of the things that Jesus repeatedly said was, "Be of good cheer"... You will find Him saying this over and over during the time of His ministry here on earth.  He learned that from reading the "scriptures".  He also said, "I only say what I hear The Father say"...and in the Old Testament, (which is what
Jesus studied), God was always saying..."Be encouraged"..."Be of good courage"..."The joy of The Lord is your strength".

In John 16:33, Jesus says..."I have told you these things so that in Me you may have perfect peace and confidence...in the world you will have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer---take courage, be confident, certain, and undaunted----for I have overcome the world...I have deprived it of power to harm you" (Amplified Bible).

One of my assignments from The Lord, is to be a "cheer-leader" in the Family of God!  So, come on and...Give me a "J"...give me an "E"...give me an "S"...give me a "U"...give me an "S", who will we be rooting for?  JESUS, JESUS, JESUS!!  HE IS THE CAPTAIN OF OUR TEAM!!
