In my upcoming Encouragements, I will be doing a
series about "Declaring the Decree", and The Lord is
laying a foundation to prepare us to really "grasp" what
this series is all about. He wants us to realize that
what we speak out of our mouth is "powerful". In fact,
Jesus said, in Mark 11:23, that we WILL "have"
whatsoever we SAY! This is a "spiritual law", and God
does not "bend the rules" for anyone! That is why He
said, in the very next verse, to only say "whatsoever
things that we DESIRE"! Did you get that? ( I am just
telling you what His Word says . . . you can read it
from your own Bible ).
Moving right along . . . the definition of the word,
DECLARE, means to "speak forth". With that in mind,
every time we SAY anything (good or bad) . . . we are
DECLARING that thing. Now, when I start sharing about
"Declaring the Decree", it will only be about "speaking
forth" what is written in God's Word! There is a
"major" difference in "speaking forth" what we "have"
that is not good . . . and "speaking forth" what we
"desire" to have. I am sure that none of us "desire" to
have bad things in our life, so we should always
be "declaring" the GOOD Covenant promises of God for
us! For example . . . if you "desire" to have all of
your needs met, then anytime you start to SAY, "I don't
have enough money to take care of this need", just stop
and DECLARE . . . "my God shall supply ALL of my needs,
according to HIS resources, not according to MY
resources"! It does not take any more time or effort to
DECLARE the "promise" than it takes to DECLARE the
"problem"!
I know that the Holy Spirit has a lot more to
add to this "foundation", so I will allow Him to keep on
"laying that foundation" until He is ready to start
"building on it"! This is the way that He has always
done things from the very "beginning" when He laid the
foundation of creation! In the book of Genesis, you
will find that God created "everything" with the "words
of His mouth"! My Bible says that, "In the beginning .
. . . . . . God SAID"! Much more to come . . . stay
