T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for July 22, 2008

God's
COVENANT Word for you today is found in the 11th chapter of Mark.
In that chapter, Jesus tells us that IF we will "speak" to
the mountains in our lives and tell them to "be removed",
THEN they SHALL "be removed"! The "mountains" in our
lives represent anything that is "looming up" and in our way
and keeping us from getting to the place where God wants us to be . . .
which is a "promised land" of PEACE, JOY, PROSPERITY, HEALTH, and
everything else that His COVENANT is intended for us to have!
That "mountain" in your personal life might be "bad
reports", or "pain" which could be (physical or mental
pain), or it could be "lack" in some area of your life, or it may
just be a "spirit of discouragement"! What ever is hindering
you from receiving the COVENANT blessings of God have to move out of
your way when you tell it to "be removed"! This does
not happen just because you "speak" to that mountain . . . it
happens because you are being obedient to DO and SAY what He told you to DO
and SAY! God watches over HIS "word" to perform it!
Let me share one of my songs with you that will help you see what The Lord
wants to reveal to you about this "instruction"! ~~~~~~
MOUNTAINS
WILL NOT MOVE JUST BECAUSE I TELL THEM TO,
BUT,
BECAUSE "HE" SAID . . . THEY WOULD!
THINGS
WON'T COME TO PASS JUST BECAUSE OF MY GREAT FAITH,
BUT,
BECAUSE OF "WHO" MY FAITH IS IN!
THINGS
THAT I CAN SEE . . . ARE "SUBJECT TO CHANGE".
SO,
WHY SHOULD I BE LOOKING AT THEM?
THE
ONLY THING THAT I SHOULD EVER HAVE TO DO,
IS
JUST TO PUT MY TRUST COMPLETELY IN HIM!
SO,
IT WILL NEVER BE . . . BECAUSE OF WHAT I DO,
BUT
BECAUSE OF WHAT "HE" DID!
AND
IT WILL NEVER BE . . . BECAUSE OF WHAT I SAY,
BUT
BECAUSE OF WHAT "HE" HAS ALREADY SAID!
IT'S
BECAUSE OF JESUS . . . JUST BECAUSE OF JESUS,
NOT
BECAUSE OF ANYTHING I DO OR DO NOT DO!
IT'S
BECAUSE OF JESUS . . . JUST BECAUSE OF JESUS,
ALL
I HAVE TO DO IS JUST "BELIEVE HIS WORD IS TRUE"!
The
reason that we must "speak" to the mountains in our lives, is
because Jesus TOLD us to do that . . . and when we DO what He tells
us to do, He rewards "obedience", and the mountains do not have a
choice but to just get out of your way simply because Jesus SAID they had to!
Praise God! He makes everything so "simple" for us when we
have "child-like" faith and trust in Him and His WORD!
