T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for July 05, 2007

Good Morning!
Well, precious ones . . .
I am in a place where I must make a "decision". I must decide,
right now, whether or not I am going to "practice what I preach"!
I have received some bad reports today, and I am really going through a
"trial". My flesh did not want to send out an Encouragement at
this time, because of this "trial". Then the Holy Spirit
reminded me of what Jesus did when He got the news that His cousin, John, had
been beheaded because of Herod. That must have been a very
"trying" time for Jesus. He even thought about just going
someplace to be alone, but when He saw the many lives that were depending upon
Him . . . He was moved with compassion, and just kept on doing what The Father
had called Him to do (read Matthew 14: 1 - 14). I was reminded of what
Jesus said in John 16:33 . . . in this world, we are going to have
"trials and tribulations"! I pray that you will read that
scripture, especially from the Amplified Bible. Anyway, then
He reminded me of a song, and it is what helped me to make my decision to
"counter-attack" what the enemy was trying to do! This is that
song ~~~~~
Some
trials come, to hinder me . . . so that the road ahead, I cannot clearly see;
but
there's one thing, that I must do . . . I'm going on, Dear Lord . . . I'm
going on for you!
I'm
going on . . . I'm going on . . . I'm going on towards the "mark",
towards my home!
Too
many lives depend on what I do,
So,
I'm going on, Dear Lord . . . I'm going on for you!
There
are some days, that seem so long . . . and it seems like everything is
going wrong;
then
to my heart . . . you bring a "song",
that
gives to me, the strength I need, to carry on!
I'm
going on . . . I'm going on . . . I'm going on towards the "mark",
towards my home!
Too
many lives depend on what I do,
So,
I'm going on, Dear Lord . . . I'm going on for you!
I want to encourage you,
today . . . no matter how many "trials and tribulations" that come
to you, and no matter how many "bad reports" you receive" . . .
BELIEVE THE GOOD REPORT OF THE LORD! Just keep on doing what the Lord
has called you to do . . . too many lives depend on what you do! You can
make a "difference" in somebody's life today, even if you are
hurting yourself! God will "heal your personal wounds", if you
will pour in the "oil and the wine" on somebody else's wounds!
Praise God!
Thank you, Holy Spirit,
for jerking me up by my bootstraps, and reminding me that I am not going to
help anybody as long as I am "licking my own wounds"! I choose
to "retaliate" the way Jesus did when He heard what the devil had
done to John! Jesus did not get in Herod's face . . . no! The way
Jesus "retaliated" was by doing something that the devil did not
want Him to do . . . Jesus just kept on "ministering to others"!
