Morning!
I
have been talking all week about how important it is to "stop, look and
listen" for the wisdom of God concerning our decisions and choices that
we make every day. Well, I have one more thing that I want to share with
you about "God's wisdom". I love to share this
"revelation" that God gave me, because it has really helped me so
many times!
Remember,
that there is a Proverb for every day of the month...I like to think of it
like this~~There is an old adage that says, "An apple a day, will keep
the doctor away". Well, I believe that a "Proverb a day, will
keep the devil away"!
However, that is not the "revelation" that I was talking about wanting
to share with you. Moving right along~~~~~ One day when I
was reading the Proverb for that day, and it must have been the 2nd day
of the month, because I saw something in Proverbs 2:6 that really stood out to
me. It says..."The Lord gives skillful and godly Wisdom;
from His mouth come knowledge and understanding" (Amp.
Bible).
I asked The Lord to show me what the
difference was between "godly Wisdom" and "skillful
Wisdom". This is what He showed me~~~~"godly Wisdom" tells
us WHAT to do....and "skillful Wisdom" tells us HOW to
do it! Many times we do not even know what to do about
something that is wrong, much less how to "fix" it! Can
anyone relate to what I am saying? This can "apply" to
so many things that happen in our daily lives!
Well, I thought I could get all of this in
today's message, but there is so much more to share concerning this.....how
about if I take this back up next week?
