Morning!
I
want to continue with what I started talking about yesterday....and that is
for us to realize how important it is to spend "quality time" with
The Lord. However, I want to clarify that. I am not talking about
the time you need to spend reading your Bible, listening to good
teaching tapes, and going to church where the "truth" is being
preached....that is definitely important also. But, I am talking about
"fellowshipping with Jesus"....one on one!
I
am talking about taking time to share a "conversation" with
Him....and when you "share" a conversation with someone, it is a
two-way communication. That means that you don't do all of the
"talking"....you stop and listen to what the other person is saying!
Oh, this is good now, can I get an Amen?
Think
about it! We have a tendency to let our "communication"
with The Lord be a one-way conversation....we want to tell Him about all of
our needs, problems and circumstances (which He already knows about before we
tell Him)! But, we don't want to take the time to
"listen" to what He has to tell us. That is
because it will "cost" us a little more time! If you read
yesterday's "encouragement", I said that we have to pay a higher
price for "quality"! You know what? It is always
worth it!
