Morning!
Deception is one of Satan's most powerful
weapons, and he "delights" in using it, especially against
Christians! Please understand...his weapons will never be as
"powerful" as the weapons that have been given to us
to withstand him. However, many Christians do not have a revelation of
the weapons that God has equipped us with. I encourage you to read
2Corinthians 10:4 & 5, and Ephesians 6:12 thru 18.
Some of you may be asking, "Luanne,
what does this have to do with Friday's 'Encouragement', and the quiz?".
My answer is....EVERYTHING!
If you think that the "opposite"
of love is "hate", then you have been deceived by the
enemy and it will keep you from obeying the "love commandment" that
Jesus gave to us. Let me explain~~~~~ the direct opposite of "Love"
(God's Love), is not "hate".....it is "selfishness and being
self-centered"! If you are deceived about this, then you
will think that as long as you don't "hate" a certain
person, then you are still obeying the "love commandment".
WRONG!!!
Go back and read 1Corinthians 13: 4 thru
8...I am not telling you these things to put you under condemnation.....but,
to help you! The Word of God tells us not to be "ignorant" of
Satan's devices....and one of his devices is to DECEIVE!
