Morning!
I
want to continue talking about "fretting"....I started all of this
off by saying that the one commandment that Jesus gave us (under the New
Covenant), was for us to walk in Love! I also pointed out that we have
been given a "check-up list" that will let us know whether or
not we are keeping that commandment. You can find that in
1Corinthians 13:4-8.......and verse 5 says that Love is not
"fretful".
Webster
has many definitions of the word fretful. One of them is "to
be irritated". I have already talked about that, so now I
want to talk about another one of the definitions....."to be
worried".
Most
people do not realize that "worry" is a sin. Don't get mad at
me...I am just telling you what the Word of God says. Think about
it.....when you "worry", that means that you are not
"trusting" God to do what He said He would do!
Proverbs
3:5 says to "trust in God with all of your heart". This
means that we are to "trust" Him in every situation, no
matter what the situation is!
Remember
this....if you are worrying, you are not trusting! To
"trust" means to have "faith in". Hebrews 11:6
says that "without faith, it is impossible to please God"!
So,
don't "worry".....TRUST GOD! He is "faithful"
to do what He said He would do!
