Morning!
Those
of you that read yesterday's encouragement will know what the "wink"
is all about!
Earlier
this week, I started talking to you about how important it is that we do not
allow ourselves to become "fretful"....and I said that one of the
definitions of that word is "irritated". There are other
definitions included, and we may talk about some of those later.
But for now, I want us to think about how something that may seem so
insignificant as "just being irritated", could become a major
problem in our lives!
First
of all, when we allow ourselves to "stay" irritated...we are no
longer walking in love. This means that we are out of the will of God
(1Corinthians 13:5 Love is not "fretful or resentful").
When
we are out of the will of God, we stop the blessings of God that He wants
to bring into our lives! But wait! You don't have to stop
there! Do what Paul did with the viper...(Acts 28:5) "shake
off" that irritation and resentfulness and get right back into the will
of God for you, which is "peace and prosperity" in every area of
your life!
