Morning!
Obviously
The Lord is wanting us to read and "re-read" 1John 1:9....He has
been bringing it up over and over again in the encouragements. He
wants us to "get a revelation" about how important it is for us
to receive God's forgiveness!
Over
and over again, Jesus tells us (in the book of
Revelation)...."HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT IS SAYING"! So, maybe it
is time for us to "listen up"!!
Whenever
the Lord gives us "instruction", it is for our own good and
protection. He knows that if we do not receive His
"forgiveness" for our own faults, failures and
mistakes....then it will be very difficult for us to "forgive"
others for their faults, failures and mistakes!
If
we refuse to receive God's forgiveness, we will be "bound
up" in condemnation and guilt....and if we refuse to forgive
"others", then we are putting that very same "bondage" on
them. In Matthew 18:18 Jesus talks about "binding and loosing",
and included in the same conversation...He talks about
"forgiveness". I encourage you to read those scriptures!
My
point is, if we really understand how willing God is to
"forgive" us, then it will be so "easy" for us to
forgive everyone else! If you are having trouble receiving God's
forgiveness, or if you are having trouble forgiving someone...then I pray
that this "encouragement" will set you free!!
