Good Morning!
"A word in due season"
The Lord started this particular series by using
what was written in Galatians 6:9, and I want to remind
you of what was written ~~~~~~ "let us not be weary in
well doing; for in due season we shall reap, if
we faint not". I encourage you to re-read my
Encouragement for Jan. 07...it will help you to really
get hold of everything that The Lord wants to get across
to us in this series. I am convinced that our Heavenly
Father wants us to start coming in to our "due seasons"
this year, and then continue to "reap in due seasons"
until Jesus comes back! It starts with us being
"obedient" to DO whatever His "Word" tells us to do in
order to reap what He promised that we would reap! In
the above "scripture", He promises us that we SHALL reap
the rewards of being "obedient". All through the Bible,
the Lord talks about "rewarding" those who are
"obedient" to do what He says to do! We could read it
this way ~~~~ "let us not get tired of obeying
God's Word" if we don't SEE the rewards immediately! We
SHALL "reap" our harvest in "due season"!
Now, let's talk about the word REAP ~~~~~~ We
are not going to REAP anything until we SOW a "seed'!
That is the "spiritual law" of sowing and reaping! That
is the way that The Lord set it up and He cannot "bend"
the rules for anybody! No farmer has ever reaped a
harvest, just because he wanted one! He had to "sow"
seeds whether he was tired or not! Galatians 6:7 says:
"Be not deceived; God is not mocked; for whatsoever a
man sows, that SHALL he also REAP". By the way, that
means "whatsoever" . . . good or bad!
Here is the way that it works ~~~~~~
WE REAP WHAT WE
SOW
WE REAP
AFTER
WE SOW
WE REAP
MORE
THAN WE SOW
That is very "plain and simple", but true! I
encourage you to keep this "simple principle" in mind as
we continue on with God's message about "reaping in due
season"! He will be showing us how to reap the "good"
harvest in our lives! I am excited about this . . .
aren't you? If you are, then stay "tuned in" to the
GOOD NEWS station . . . KJIA
