                                                  "A Word in due season"

 

The Word of God has many scriptures that talk about "due seasons", and with that in mind, I am going to be referring to some of those scriptures in my Encouragements.  I will give you one of the scriptures and let you know what it says, and then I am going to allow the Holy Spirit to give YOU a "word" that relates to that scripture.  This "format" that The Lord has given me is to help you to become more "COVENANT minded"!

 

Galatians 6:9 . . . "let us not be weary in well doing; for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not nor give up". (KJV)

 

The word "shall" is a COVENANT word . . . it means "inevitable" . . . God WILL bring it to pass if we do what He says to do before the word "shall"!  That is very "simple", so we do not need to make it complicated!

 

The Lord is saying to you, today . . . "I know that there are times when you are tempted to "give up and throw in the towel", when you do not SEE any results from doing what My Word tells you to do!  This is the time to "wait upon Me" and allow me to "renew your strength"!  This is the time to "trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not unto your own understanding"!  This is the time to put your child-like faith in the integrity of My Word!  This is the time to "resist" the one that is telling you to give up, and believe in the One that promises that you WILL "reap in due season"!  This is the time for you to "stand your ground" and to remember that "having done all to stand", just keep "standing on the promises of God"!

 

Precious ones . . . if God told us that we would "reap" the harvest of doing good if we don't give up, then that means that we SHALL "reap in due season"!  Your "due season" is coming if you make a "decision" to just keep on doing what you know is the right thing to do"!  Why? Because GOD hath SAID SO!  It is a "done deal" if you will "only believe"!
