Good Morning!

We are talking about the importance of being "obedient" in order to have the covenant blessings of God in and on our life.  We need to be "quick" to obey whatever God and His Word tells us to do,  and we need to start with being obedient to the "Love Commandment"!  For some reason, The Lord is nudging me, at this time, to use songs that He has given me to bring His message across in my Encouragements.  So, I am going to share another one of them with you today.

In John 8:7, Jesus says . . . "Let him who is without sin, cast your stone" (paraphrased).  In other words,  only someone who has never sinned or had sin in their lives have a right to throw rocks at someone else.  Well, that "disqualifies" everybody but Jesus!  When we judge or criticize or put condemnation on someone . . . we are "throwing rocks"!  Please think about the words of this song!

    JESUS SAID, "LET HIM WHO HAS NO SIN CAST HIS STONE".
    AFTER THEY HAD "JUDGED" THEMSELVES . . . THE ACCUSED WAS LEFT ALONE.

    JESUS SAID, "DON'T TRY TO PICK THAT SPECK OUT OF THEIR EYES",
    BUT, CONSIDER THAT BIG LOG THAT MIGHT BE IN YOUR EYE!

        SO, WHY DO WE KEEP THROWING ROCKS AT A SISTER OR A BROTHER,
        WHEN THE WORD OF GOD TELLS US, JUST TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER!

    IF WE DO NOT JUDGE SOMEONE, THEN WE WILL NOT BE JUDGED;
    TO KEEP THE LORD'S COMMANDMENT, WE JUST NEED TO WALK IN LOVE! **

Anytime that we are judging, criticizing or putting guilt and condemnation on someone, we are "throwing rocks", and we are in disobedience to God's commandment to walk in love!  Did you know that "disobedience" is SIN?  However, did you know that 1John 1:9 says that if we will just acknowledge our sin to God, He is just and faithful to forgive us of that sin, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness!  PRAISE GOD FOR 1JOHN 1:9!  That does not mean that it is okay for us to keep on "throwing rocks", and then use 1John 1:9 to make us feel better about it!  Okay!  I'm preaching now!  Did you get it?  Don't get mad at me . . . I am just trying to help you get the blessings of God on your life!  Come on, now, you gotta love me . . . God told you to!

Have a Blessed Day!!                   (Stop throwing "rocks"!)                 In His Love, Luanne
