Good
Morning!
I am going to continue
talking about the "peace-stealers" that I listed in Friday's
encouragement. Quiz: What is "peace-stealer"
#2 ? Speak up! I can't hear you. Oh! Now I do....and
yes, you answered correctly (even if I didn't really "hear" your
answer).
Peace-stealer #2.
ANXIETY.....Being "anxious" about a situation will keep you
from being "joyfully expectant" of God's solution
to that situation! So, remember that! Being
"anxious" is the same thing as being "expectant" in a
negative sense! It means that you are "expecting" the WORST.
Being "joyfully expectant" in God's covenant promises means that you
are "expecting" the BEST!
Allow me to
"paraphrase" Philippians 4:6-7.......Don't be "anxious, fretful
or worried" about anything! Just "pray" about
every situation, and thank God that He hears your prayers. Then the
"Peace of God" will put up a guard over your mind and your
heart that will keep "fear" from having any effect on you!
Can you see why "anxiety" is a "peace-stealer"? This
scripture tells you how to receive a "covenant promise" from
God, so I encourage you to read it, receive it, and start talking
"covenant-talk" by saying this~~~~"I am not going to be
anxious, I am not going to be fretful, I am not going to worry....I am just
going to be "thankful" that God has promised to give me PEACE
if I will not be "anxious, fretful or worried"!
Now, you are talking "covenant-talk"!
Stay tuned in to the
"good news station KJIA"~~~~~~
Have
a Blessed Day!! (Receive the
"Peace of God"!) In His Love, Luanne
