Good
Morning!
Thanks
for tuning in to the "good news" station! I don't know about
you, but I would rather hear good news than bad news....and I
would rather tell others the good news instead of the bad news! All
of us have been given an assignment from Jesus to tell everyone the
"good news"....He told us to publish openly the
"good news" to every person in the human race! That is
Luanne's "paraphrase" of Mark 16:15 (Amplified Bible). You can
read it for yourself...the word "Gospel" means GOOD NEWS!
Well,
I take my "assignment" verrrry seriously.
Therefore, I intend to keep right on "publishing" the GOOD
NEWS to anyone and everyone that will listen!
The
"good news" that I have been publishing lately, is that
you have a "covenant" with God (if you have accepted Jesus Christ as
your Lord and Saviour), and all of His "covenant promises"
belong to you! However, they don't just "fall" on you. You
have to "believe" them in order to "receive" them! The
word covenant means to "be in agreement with". It
is impossible to be in agreement with someone if you don't really
"believe" what they are saying! Right? I encourage
you to say (out loud), "Lord, I am going to be
"covenant-minded", and I am going to be in agreement with you.
I am going to "believe" what you have promised, so that I can
"receive" what you have promised"!
You
know what? All I know to do is just "put it out there for
you", and then pray that you will "get hold of it".....one day I
got "hold of it" and it changed my life! It was the "good
news" that I needed to hear! More to come, so stay tuned
