Morning!
I
want to continue talking about the importance of "praising God"!
He created us to praise Him, and everything that He does is for a
"purpose"! God does not need us to "praise" Him in
order for Him to feel good about Himself. Think about it....many
people need to hear others "praise" them so that they can
feel important. This is because they are insecure and do not know
who they are in Christ. Well, this is not the case with Almighty
God....He knows "who He is"! Therefore, our
"praises" are supposed to be to Him, not for Him! The
reason that He wants us to "praise" Him, is because we are
the ones that will "benefit" from it, not Him!
Let
me give you some of the reasons to praise The Lord, and also
what some of the "benefits" are. Remember, I am only giving
you some of them. I encourage you to read the scriptures ~~~~~~~
Reasons to "praise" Him:
#1. Because He created you to praise
Him...Psalms 102:18
#2. Because you are
"breathing"....Psalms 150:6
#3. Because He brought you out of
darkness into "light"....1Peter 2:9
#4. Because you did not deserve
"mercy", but He has given it to you....1Peter 2:10
