Good Morning!

Today, I am really going to try to get back to the message of "keeping our prayer life simple".  Sometimes, the Holy Spirit will take me in different directions...even in the middle of a certain "subject" that He wants me to talk about.  He has His own reasons for that, and I am not going to "question" Him....My job is to just "show up for work"!

1Thessalonians 5:17 says..."Pray without ceasing".  I explained earlier how we can do that.  It is by understanding that "prayer" is simply communicating with God.  If we understand that, then we can "pray" anytime and all the time!  Think about it!  What are you doing when you talk to someone?  You are "communicating" with them!  Right?  Well, your heavenly Father wants you to "talk" to Him...He wants you to "communicate" with Him. I want to share another scripture with you~~~~

Ephesians 6:18 says....."Pray at all times--on every occasion, in every season--in the Spirit, with all (manner of) prayer and entreaty" (Amplified Bible).  See! There are many kinds of "prayer".   In the encouragement that I sent Wednesday (Jan. 05), I listed some of the many different kinds of prayer.  I encourage you to refer back to that.  If you will allow the Holy Spirit to give you a "revelation" of this, then you can know how simple it is to "pray without ceasing" and how simple it is to "pray at all times"!

Let me add another kind of "prayer" to the list that I have already given you...and it is "praise and worship".  When we praise and worship the Lord, we are telling Him how much we adore Him for "Who He is", not for "what He can do"!  Now, is that "simple" or what?

Have a Blessed Weekend!    (Keep your prayer life "simple"!)   In His Love, Luanne
