Morning!
I
want to get back to talking about "simplifying" our lives. I know
what a difference this revelation from God has made in my own personal life,
so I want to share it with others!
There
are many different "areas" of our life that we need to simplify
and I want to talk about all of them, but the one that I want to take
back up...is our "prayer life".
I
started sharing about this before the Holidays, so I encourage you again to go
to the website "Archives" if you have forgotten what I said.
Remember that "prayer" is simply communicating with God!
There
are many kinds of "prayer"...the prayer of "supplication"
is asking God to meet your needs...the prayer of
"intercession" is asking God to meet the needs of others...the
prayer of "dedication" is saying not my will be done, but Your will
be done, Oh Lord...the prayer of "repentance" is saying Lord, I have
messed up, thank you for forgiving me...the prayer of "thanksgiving"
is just simply telling God how much you appreciate all that He has done for
you! If you have ever wondered how we can pray without ceasing
(1Thessalonians 5:17)...this is the "answer"!
