Morning!
In
one of my earlier encouragements, I talked about what you should do as soon as
you open your eyes every morning......remember? Come on, now, and be
honest! Well, if you have forgotten, I want to remind you~~~Think about
the fact that God is "smiling on you", and today, I want to share
with you just how important it is for you to understand what His
"smile" is all about!
When
we "smile" at someone, it is our way of being "friendly",
but whenever God "smiles" on us, it is so much more than that!
His "smile" represents His "favor"!! He wants us to
have His favor in our daily lives......Proverbs 3:3 & 4 tell us that if we
will be "merciful and truthful", then we will find favor with God
and men! I know that all of you will agree with me that we need the
favor of God and other people in our lives every day!
I
believe that the reason God wakes us up with a "smile", is because
He is letting us know that if we will show "mercy" to others, and if
we will be "truthful" in every situation....then we will find
"favor" with Him and everyone else that we come in contact
with that day! Hey! That is good news!! God
makes everything "so very simple"~~~~~~Are you "smiling"
now'?
