Morning!
Have
you ever thought about why you are here on this earth? God created us and
brought us into being, for a "reason" and for a "purpose"!
I want to talk about the "reason" first, and then we will talk about
the "purpose".
First
of all, and again I say, first of all......the "reason" that God
created you and me was for us to "fellowship" with Him!~~~I John 1:3
tells us that our "fellowship" is to be with the Father and with His
Son Jesus Christ.
I
am reminded of when The Lord made this real to me.....before, I got a
revelation of why I had been created, I used to wake up every morning thinking
about all of my problems and would continue to think about them all day. I
would think about my "bills", my "kids", my
"have-nots", my "past", my "aches and pains", my
"hurt feelings", my "plans", and the list went
on......what about me, what about me?
Then,
one morning when I woke up and started thinking about my "list"
of all my problems.....The Lord interrupted me (Praise God!), and
said..."Are you going to fellowship with "Me", or with your
"problems"? I can tell you, that was a "wake-up call"
for me!
Whatever,
or whoever, you think about the most will eventually become a "god"
to you! The Lord says that we are to have "no other gods
before Him"!
Today,
I have talked about the "reason" we were created, and that is to
fellowship with the only "true and living God"......tomorrow, I
will talk about the "purpose" that He created us for!
