Good Morning!

The Lord is good!  And His mercy endures forever!  We need to "continually" think about His goodness, and talk about His goodness, and sing about His goodness. He is good, and He wants to give us good things to enjoy! (1 Timothy 6:17)

God is not against us having "things", as long as "things" don't have us!   We need to learn how to be "content" in Him first, and then we will be able to enjoy all the blessings that He longs to give us!

I have shared this song before, but will share it again...I just call this "My Prayer Song">>>>>>

            Jesus, let me be content with food and raiment,
            All I really want is "more of You".
            I am losing my desire for things in this world;
            everything I need, I'll find in You.

            If I speak with tongues of men and angels;
            if I have the gift of prophecy;
            if I have the faith to move all mountains,
            but, have not love, it will not profit me.

            So, now abideth faith and hope and love,
            but "love" is the greatest of the three.
            Teach me more about your kind of love, Lord,
            So I can love.... the way that you love me!
