T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for Jan. 16, 2003 T.O.D.A.Y.
Ministries There is nothing in the Word of God that says that we have to "understand" everything that is going on in our lives. In fact, it is waste of our time to try and "figure out" why this or that is happening. We spend too much time reasoning in our own minds....think about it.... do you find yourself saying, "Well, maybe this is going on because of something I did, or did not do, or is it because of something somebody else did, or did not do?" Proverbs 3:5 says, "Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not unto your own "understanding"..... Now it is true, that Proverbs 4:7 tells us to get understanding, but if you will read that scripture, it is talking about getting "understanding" of the Word and Wisdom of God! That is a totally different kind of "understanding"! I encourage you, today, to read what The Lord has to say about your situation, and refuse to listen to what your natural "mind" is telling you (unless your mind has been renewed to the Word). This is not hard, it really is very "simple"........Just "trust in The Lord, and lean not unto your "own understanding"! Have a Blessed Day!!
