T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for Feb. 20, 2007

Morning!
Today, I
am going share with you what 2 Corinthians 9: 8 & 10 says . . .
"God is able to make every favor and earthly blessing come to you in abundance,
so that you may always, regardless of the need or the circumstances,
will be furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable
donation". Verse 10 . . . "and God, who provides seed for the
sower and bread for eating, will also provide and multiply your 'resources'
for sowing". (Paraphrased from the Amplified Bible).
That
seems sort of "lengthy", even though I condensed it . . . but
get hold of this ~~~~ God isn't wanting you to "Quote scriptures
word for word", (He already knows what it says) . . . He just wants
you to let Him know that you "believe" what He has PROMISED
in those scriptures. He wants to hear you talk
"Covenant-talk", so keep it SIMPLE! So, this is what I say to
Him concerning the above promises ~~~~
Thank you Father, that You
are willing and able to make every earthly blessing come to me in
abundance! I don't have to try and "get" it . . . it is coming
to me! Thank you Father, that you give me food to eat, and you also give
"seeds to sow" into every good work, so that I can be a blessing to
others! Thank You Lord that You not only
"provide" seeds to sow, but you also "multiply" my
resources for those seeds! This is how I talk
"covenant-talk"!
I know
that I know that The Lord's desire for us is not just for us to
have "enough" for ourselves, but to have "more than
enough" so that we can "share" with others! He has given
us this "covenant promise" . . . what are we going to do with it?
My suggestion to you is this ~~~ Don't just "Quote by rote" . .
. talk "covenant-talk"! I know now why The Holy Spirit had me
say that about "rote" . . . I went to Webster's just to make sure
that I had heard Him right. Definition of "by rote" . . . a
fixed, mechanical way of doing something, or by memory alone, without
understanding or thought!
Remember, no Encouragement
