Morning!
I
am just going to be very honest with all of you and say what is on my heart to
say. You can take it or leave it, but since this is "my
encouragement"...I get to say what I want to say!
I
just don't understand the way the "secular world" thinks! They
set apart one day out of the year (it is called Valentine's Day)
and they start advertising early to let you know what "gifts" you
can give someone in order to let them know that you love them on that
day. Ummm! Isn't that "strange"? We should be
letting people know how much we love them EVERY day! We should be giving
them the "best" gift of all....which is the love of JESUS!
I
am not against giving people "valentine gifts", if that is what you
want to do...I am just saying that you don't have to wait until the 14th day
of February to let someone know that you AND Jesus loves them! I also
want to point out that the kind of "love" that the Bible is
telling us to have for one another every day, is not the same
kind of "love" that the secular world is talking about having on
Valentine's Day!
I
will talk about God's kind of love (compared to the world's kind of love)
tomorrow! If you still love me (after reading this
"encouragement"), then maybe you will read the one I send
tomorrow. It will be "my" valentine to you!
