Morning!
Getting
back to the message that I started on Monday.....which is that we should have
no other gods before Him! I talked about the fact that whatever we
"think" about the most will become a "god" to us and will
sit upon that "throne" in our hearts that was put there, by almighty
God, exclusively for Jesus!
Many
times we do not even realize that we are putting "other gods" on
that throne. Remember this, whatever you "think" about the most will
be what you "talk" about the most....Jesus said, "out of the
abundance of the 'heart', the mouth speaks." (read
Matthew 12:24).
So,
we need to stop and "think about" what we are "thinking
about"! It all starts with our "thoughts"! We can
make "other gods" with our "thoughts", which will end up in
our "hearts" and eventually come out of our "mouths"!
It
could be your "job"...or your "ministry"...or your
"finances"...or "someone that did you wrong"...or
your "children"...or (and hear this) even "yourself"!
Do you really want any of those "things" sitting upon the
"throne of your heart", and ruling your life?
Isaiah
26:3 tells us that..The Lord will keep us in perfect peace, if we keep our mind
(our thoughts) upon Him!
What
do you wake up every morning thinking about? God is speaking to
you, and it is because He cares about you! He wants you to have
"Peace" in your life! He is making it so very
"simple" for you!
