Morning!
I love to talk about the
"faithfulness" of God! The more I talk about it, and think
about it, the more confidence and assurance I have that He will do
what He says He will do. There are so many scriptures that
tell us to let all of our hope, and all of our expectations be in
the Lord .....they tell us to lean on Him, rely
upon Him, and then wait, "expectantly", on Him!
I am sure that you know, by now, that you
cannot always "depend" on others to do what they say they will do. Has
anyone ever "let you down"? I believe the reason that happens,
is because The Lord is wanting to show us that we are not supposed to be
"depending" on any one but Him!
One day I was feeling so upset and
disappointed about the fact that someone had "let me down"....then I
heard these words from The Lord~~~~~~NO ONE CAN LET YOU DOWN UNLESS YOU
ARE "LEANING" ON THEM! This word from God was a
"revelation" to me that I should not ever be depending
upon anyone but "Him"!
The Amplified Bible tells us to "lean
on God with our entire personality"..... that is just "simply"
saying, that we need to be ourselves when we are talking to
Him.... it is time for us to just be "real" with God! I
encourage you, today, right now....right where you are, as you are
reading this, to have "child-like" faith and actually see
yourself leaning over on Him! You can do this....just lean to the
right...He is there for you! (Then remember to do this, everytime you are
under pressure and you hear the enemy saying, "what are you going to
do about this or that"?) Just open your mouth and tell that
liar...."I am going to lean on God"! Let him
"see" you leaning over on The Lord!
