Morning!
I
want to share from a beautiful song, that most of you are familiar
with.....there is so much "revelation" to be gleaned from these
words~~~~~~~
'TIS SO SWEET TO TRUST IN JESUS, JUST TO TAKE HIM AT HIS WORD;
JUST TO REST UPON HIS PROMISE....
JUST TO KNOW, THUS SAITH THE LORD!
It
is impossible for us to "trust in Jesus...take Him at His Word..or rest
upon His promises", if we don't know what His Word says!
So, it is important that we "read" what He has to say in His written
word...think about it. The reason Jesus was able to come against the
"temptations" of the devil in the wilderness, was because He knew
what the Word said and therefore was able to say "It is
written"!
Jesus
was our "example"...everything He did and said, was to show us what we
need to "do and say"! Tomorrow I want to talk about how
important it is for us to not only know what God says, but also
how important it is that we "know" HIM!
