Morning and Merry Christmas!
I
am going to finish up the third chapter of Proverbs by paraphrasing these last
four verses without "separating" them by verse numbers. The
Lord is sending a very important message here, and it is all
"inclusive". So, with your bibles open... read verses 31
thru 34, and then read what the Lord has given me to share
about them.
Ready?
Don't
envy ungodly people who seem to be "prosperous", and don't be
resentful about the fact that they are seemingly prosperous when you
don't seem to be. Don't try to get your prosperity the way that they got
theirs. Their "way of life" is not pleasing to God, because
they did not look to Him for their prosperity. Remember
this.....they do not have a "covenant" with God. Therefore,
their "household" is under a "curse"!
However, our "household" is a "covenant household" and the
blessing of The Lord is upon it!
So,
don't try to get your "prosperity" any other way than by the way
that God has set it up in His Word. You know what that is....Honor Him
with your "tithes", and He will rebuke the devourer for your sake
(Malachi 3:10 & 11)...."give" and it shall be given unto you
(Luke 6:38)...."sow" seeds and you will reap a "harvest"
(Galatians 6:7).
God
gives "grace" to the humble....well we "humble"
ourselves by doing things His way, not the "world's
way"! Amen?
Well, I kept my commitment to expound on
the entire chapter of Proverbs...do I get some "brownie buttons"
from you all?
 Just kidding!
I pray that someone has been blessed by what The Lord has had me to
share! I have been thinking about something....if you have a chapter in
Proverbs that you would like for me to talk about, send that request to me.
There is so much "wisdom" to be gleaned from this book of the Bible!
