T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for Dec. 07, 2005

Morning!
This
"encouragement" is going to be a little different from what I
usually send. I am going to say some things that may "offend"
someone, although it is hard for me to believe that any of you all would be
"offended" considering that all of you love the same Jesus that I
love (otherwise you would not even be reading this)!
Let
me "quote" the Prophet Jeremiah..."If I say, I will not make
mention of the Lord, or speak anymore in His name, there is in my mind
and heart as if it were a burning fire shut up in my bones"! You can
read that in Jeremiah 20,verse 9. Well, that is exactly how I am
feeling right now! I have something to say about what is going
on right now, and it is like "fire shut up in my bones" and I can no
longer contain it!
No person
or organization is going to stop me from saying "Merry Christmas"!
I plan to say it to everyone I see...I will "shout it from the
rooftops"....I will "go tell it on the mountain, that Jesus Christ
is born"! He may not have been born on December 25th, but the fact
remains the He was born! This just happens to be when
"Christians" have decided to "celebrate" His birth!
We are not "celebrating" when Jesus was born....we are
"celebrating" the fact that He was born of God
and that He is our Savior! Those that do not want us to say "Christmas"
are living in this world without a Savior! How sad! The thing that
I do not understand is this~~~they want us to say "Happy Holidays"
and they are buying "Holiday trees" and celebrating. Could
someone tell me what it is that they are "celebrating"? Why
are they so "afraid" of someone that they do not even believe
exists?
I
am going to get really "bold" now....I will no longer shop at Target
or any other store that has bowed their knees to the "opposition" in
order to make more money! I refuse to serve them and feed
their "greedy" spirit!
I
encourage you to "check out" the merchants that are "obeying
man, rather than obeying God". However, you can do what you want to
do. I have to do what it says in Joshua 24:15...."Choose you this
day who you will serve, but as for me and my house...we will serve THE
LORD"!
The
"church" was silent and did not do anything to keep one
woman from taking "Christ" out of our schools......are we going to
also let someone take "Christ" out of Christmas?
Well, I said what I felt in my spirit to say. Thank you for taking
time to listen. I cannot, and will not compromise my convictions!
So, now I say to all of you.....MERRY CHRISTmas! (that was not a
"typo")!
I will be back with Proverbs chapter three
tomorrow....have you Bibles open!
