Morning!
Oh! What an awesome
"privilege" it is to be able communicate with
Almighty God! That is what "prayer" is.....simply
communicating with The Lord! I don't take this lightly, and I don't
think that we should "complicate" it. I believe that He wants
us to "enjoy" this privilege.
Think about the word
"communicate" when you start to pray.....anytime you are talking to
someone, you are communicating with them. With that in mind, when you
"talk" to someone, do you use a different "vocabulary"
other than your natural one? God is your Heavenly Father....He doesn't
expect you to talk any differently to Him, than you would to you earthly
Father or anyone else!
Forget the "thees" and "thous"
and the need to quote every scripture precisely. God knows what the
"scriptures" say...He just wants to hear you tell Him that you
"trust" Him to do what His Word says He will do!
There is so much to share about the
subject of "prayer" because there are many different
"forms" of prayer. I can't share about all of this in
"one" encouragement, so I will continue this later. The point
I am wanting to make now, is "keep your prayer life
SIMPLE"!
Next week is going to be very
"busy" for everyone...getting ready for Christmas and spending time
with "family", so I will not be sending the
"encouragements" during that time. I will be back on Monday,
Dec. 27 and will continue this message about "prayer".
