Morning!
I
want to continue talking to you about "PEACE". I
know that a lot of you already understand how "vital" the Peace of
God is in your life (I encourage you to read Webster's definition of the word
"vital"). However, we should always want more
"revelation" about this awesome "gift" that Jesus gave to
us before He left to go be with the Father! (John 14:27).
You
know what? It does not matter how many times someone offers you a
"gift", if you do not "reach out and receive that
"gift"...then you will never be able to enjoy the benefits of it!
I decided to reach out and "receive" the gift of Peace that Jesus
wanted me to have....and my "peace" is more important to me
than anything else other than Jesus! However, Jesus is my
"peace"....He not only gives us peace, He is our
peace! This is the reason that I will not allow anything or anyone to "steal"
this precious "gift'!
How
do we "receive" this gift of Peace? It is so simple....Don't
be anxious about anything, and don't worry about
anything, just take it to the Lord in prayer and thank Him for taking
care of the situation. He says that if you will do this, then the
Peace of God that passes all understanding will "guard your heart and
your mind"! (Philippians 4:6,7 paraphrased). I encourage
you to read these scriptures!
