Morning!
Yesterday,
I was encouraging you to read Hebrews 11:1, I hope you did, because no matter
how many times we have read certain scriptures...."faith comes by hearing
and hearing and hearing the Word of God" (Romans 10:17). That
is the "literal" translation of that scripture! Also, the Word
of God tells us that "without faith, it is impossible to please
God...stay with me, I am connecting different "scriptures" in order
to give you the "whole counsel of God".
Hebrews
11:1 says that "faith" is the substance (evidence) of things
"hoped" for, so that is why I told you that you need to be careful
not to let "discouragement" rob you of your "hope"!
Now, the next scripture that we need to connect all of this to, is Galatians
5:6..."faith works by love". Here we have the bottom line to
everything!
In
order for us to have what we are desiring from God, we must continue to
"have hope", and we must be walking in "love"!.....The
kind of "love" that God talks about in 1Corinthians 13:4-8~~~~~
Our
Heavenly Father longs to bless us, but we have to do things "His
way"! If you are needing an "answer" to your prayers,
then I encourage you to follow the above instructions, and I can promise you
that God will always "honor His Word"!
