Morning!
Yesterday,
I ended my "encouragement" by telling you that I wanted to continue
to talk to you about the Word of God. As I was reading that, today,
it could have been taken that I was going to talk some more about the
"blood". Well, I may do that at another time (there is
plenty to talk about on that subject!) But, for now, The Lord is wanting me to
share about "His Word".......the simplicity of it......the power
that is in it.....and the importance of "giving attention to
it"!
Proverbs 4:20 - 22 tells us that if we
will give our "attention" to the Word of God, and "submit"
ourselves to do what it tells us to do.....that it will be "life" to
us, and will also be "health, healing and a cure" to all of our
flesh!
Most people will "pay attention"
to what the weather forecasters say, and make their plans according to it......they
will "pay attention" to the instructions that their doctors give
them, and follow those instructions.....they will "pay
attention" to what their lawyers, bankers, bosses, and "how to operate"
manuals tell them to do.....I am not coming against all of that! My
point is, if we will be willing to "trust" in all of the
above....how much more so, we should "pay attention" to and
"trust" in the instructions that Almighty God is giving to us!
Come on now and "smile" for
me......you know what I am saying is TRUE! You have to love
me, because the Word of God tells you to!!!
