T.O.D.A.Y.'S  ENCOURAGEMENT for Aug. 11, 2008

Good Morning!

 

Last week, I started talking about a personal "path" that God has ordained for each one of us to walk on . . . I want to continue with that.  You can refer back to those if you saved them, or you can go to the Archives on our web site and read them.

 

I talked about how important it is for you to "choose" the path that He has for you, and to make this "choice" at the beginning of each day!  If God takes time to "renew His mercies to us each and every morning" (Lamentations 3: 22-23), then we need to take time to "renew" our choices and confessions of faith each and every morning!  I have found out (the hard way), that if I don't take time to personally make the "choices" that The Lord has set before me . . . then the devil will be more than glad to make them for me the rest of the day!  He will use "circumstances, or people, or pressure of some kind" to get us to make wrong "choices" and rash "decisions"!  Talking to some body today!     I understand that some of you may feel like you don't have time to do something like this every morning, and so you have good intentions to maybe get around to it later on that day.  Allow me to speak from "experience" ~~~~~ you can eliminate a lot of problems by putting The Lord FIRST each day!  It will cause you to start your day off by becoming "Word-minded" and "Covenant-minded"!  That automatically makes you a "candidate" to walk all day LONG in God's perfect peace (Isaiah 26: 3).

 

Think about it!  How long can it possibly take you to let The Lord know what your "choices" are each morning?  I encourage you to look at your watch or your clock right now . . . then open your mouth and say the following ~~~~ Lord, I "choose" to stay on the path that you have for me today!  I "choose" LIFE!  I "choose" BLESSINGS!  Now, look at your watch or clock . . . how long did it take?

 

Having some "fun" with you . . . but the "principle" is very "serious" and could make a difference in your daily life!      Bottom line . . . PUT GOD FIRST!  If you do, then you will find out that He will make enough time for you to even add some more good "choices" each morning!   We might even talk about those on Wednesday ~~~~~~~~
