Morning!
The
following message is God's version of "As The World Turns" . .
. (some of you may not know that I am using the title of a
"soap opera" that used to be on TV., and may still be on, I don't
know, and don't care). I don't do "soap operas" anymore!
God's
message ~~~~~
The
sun comes up every morning and goes down every night . . . we may not always
SEE the sun because of "cloud coverage", but it is up there anyway
whether we see it or not! It does not come up and go down by
"choice" . . . it has been "commanded" to do so . . . and
also because of how The Lord commanded the "world to turn"!
Everything God created must do what He created it to do and commanded it to
do, except for the one thing that He created and then gave them a free
will to make their own "choices". That one creation was
"mankind"! The only ones that were created in His image and
likeness! That would be me and you!
Yes,
The Lord does give us "commandments" and "instructions" in
His Word! He tells us how we can be LED BY HIS SPIRIT, but it is still
up to us to "choose" to follow His instructions! I have had a
lot of people say to me . . . "Luanne, I know that you are led by
The Spirit of God, but I don't know how to do that". Well, it
starts with having a "desire" to be led by Him, and then you have to
let Him know that you "choose" to do this! It means that you
have to "surrender" your own plans to Him, and ask Him to get
involved in every area of your life and let Him know that no matter what your
"plans" are . . . you want to know what HIS "plan" is!
You need to do this every "morning", even before you get out of bed!
You know why? The "SON" is up, even if you can't see Him, and
it could be because of "cloud coverage"! I pray that you
will see the "spiritual" analogy embedded in this message that may
have seemed "frivolous" at the beginning!
Bottom
line ~~~ YOU can be LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD . . . if you
"choose" to be! When we choose to be LED BY THE HOLY
SPIRIT . . . we will experience "success", "victory",
"peace", "joy", and also "intimacy" with
The Lord and "maturity" in Him! Who would not want all
of that in their lives?!
