Morning!
Well,
I am going to get back to what I was talking about last Monday (you can refer
to Aug. 15)....it was about keeping your life "simple". At
that time, I had forgotten that I promised to send you "scriptures"
concerning the word ASK. I guess I got in too big of a hurry to talk
about my "favorite" subject!
Anyway, I kept my promise and gave you the scriptures...I pray that all of you
read them and received from them! So, now I want to share one
of the most wonderful revelations that The Lord has ever given me....it has
really revolutionized my life!
Several years ago, I asked The Lord to
show me what I needed to do in order to keep strife, stress,
confusion and frustration out of my life. This is what He said to
me...."Keep your heart pure and keep your life simple". Then,
He began to teach me how to do this. This is what I want to share
with you. If you are thinking, "I do not see any thing in the
Bible that supports this "....then I encourage you to read about the way
Jesus lived His life on earth. Think about it....Jesus lived a
"simple" life....He taught a "simple" message....He prayed
"simple" prayers.... and He kept His relationships
"simple"! He is our example, and obviously it
"worked" for Him, so I think I will just do what He did! We
sure can't go wrong by doing what Jesus did. Can I get an AMEN?
I have only laid a
"foundation" for what The Lord wants to build on concerning this
message....there are many different "areas" of our life that need to
be "simplified"! I want to talk about each one of them, so
stay tuned in~~~~~
