Good
Morning!
Many
times people forget to ASK the Lord for His help in their situations, because
they feel so much "pressure" on them at that time. So, their
first thought is..."What can I do to change this situation"?
That is exactly what the devil wants you to think! If he can keep you
busy trying to "figure out" what you can do, then that
will keep you from "believing and trusting" in what God can
do! It will also keep you from "asking" God for His help.
If The Lord wanted you to take care of your needs, then He would
not have told you to "ASK" Him for His help! Right?
Now, l want to talk to you about what
is involved if you do decide to ASK Him for His help~~~~Make sure
that you are "asking" the way that God's Word tells us to
"ask".
1John
5:14 & 15 tells us...that if we ASK anything according to His will, He will
hear us and give us what we have requested (paraphrased).
How do we know what His "will" is? His will is whatever
He has promised us in His "Word" (the Bible).
So
then, we cannot ASK according to our will, but only according to His
will! But, if we don't know what His
"Word" says, then we cannot know what His "will" is.
That is why it is so important for us to spend time reading His
"Word", then we will know what His "will" is
for us, and we will have a "scripture" to back up our
requests! Now, that makes everything so "simple" for us!
Amen?
I
am going to help you with your "homework" by giving you scriptures
to stand on when you are "asking" The Lord for His help. I was
going to do this today, but it looks like The Lord wanted to "lay a
foundation" first....He always does this when He is "building"
on something!
I
will be sending those scriptures so stay tuned in~~~~~
Have a Blessed Weekend!!
