Good
Morning!
We
have been looking at all the different reasons why we need the "grace of
God" in our lives, and today I want to talk about one more of those
reasons~~~
In
Titus 2: 11 & 12, we are told that His grace "teaches" us.
What does it teach us? It teaches us about the "reverential fear of
God"! What is the reverential fear of The Lord? I
encourage you to read Proverbs 1:7, and I want to share with you a
conversation that I recently had with my youngest son. He is
45 and God's grace totally turned his life around several years
ago..(Don't stop praying for your kids).
He
was telling me about being "tempted" to do something that He knew
was wrong, and He said "Mom, I felt the fear of God come on me...it's not
like I am afraid of God....I am just afraid of Him not being in my life
24/7!".
The
reason I shared this with you is to let you know what the "grace of
God" can do! Not only will it "save the
lost"..."strengthen the weak"...."bring an abundant
harvest to the givers"....be "sufficient in every area of our
life"..."supernaturally change our natural
circumstances"...(I have given you scriptures about all of these
things)...but, it will also "teach" us about the reverential
fear of The Lord, which is the beginning of "wisdom"!
Praise God for the "simplicity" of His Word!!!
Have
a Blessed Weekend!! (Keep
it simple!) In His Love,
Luanne
