Good Morning!

I want to encourage you, once again, to read a chapter from the book of Proverbs everyday.  It is like a daily devotional,
because there is a chapter for every day of the month...so if you miss a day of reading, just pick back up on whatever day it is and just read that chapter... i.e. today is the 18th, so read the 18th chapter!  Don't make it some kind of "legal rule", just "think about it", and before long, it will become a joyful habit, not something that you feel like you "have to do"! 

There is an old saying..."an apple a day, keeps the doctor away".  Well, I like to put it like this..."a Proverb a day, keeps
the devil away"!  That is because, the Word of God will bring healing and health (Proverbs 4:22), and also gives us "wisdom" to keep the enemy out of all of our "affairs"!  More on this later!

The last part of the last verse in today's Proverb (chapter 18:24) says that "there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother".  That "friend" is Jesus,  but there is so much more to "see" in that scripture, and I will talk about that tomorrow!
