Good Morning!

Yesterday, I talked about Romans 8:1, that says that there is no condemnation to those that are in Christ Jesus... ok, if you have received Jesus into your heart and made Him the Lord of your life, then you are "in Him" and now you are no longer "condemned or under condemnation" according to God!

The second part of that scripture talks about "walking not after the flesh, but walking after the spirit".  To "walk after" means to be "led by"... so the "truth" of this entire scripture is really very "simple"!  The first part of it tells us that if we are "in Him" we are not "condemned" by Him...the second part tell us that the only way the spirit of condemnation can come on us, is if we allow ourselves to be led by our "flesh" instead of the Holy Spirit!

To be led by our "flesh" simply means that we are motivated to do something or say something because of our "emotions" or "situations".  Here is a simple solution to keep that from happening>>>>>

Pray this every morning... "Lord, I choose today, to be led by The Holy Spirit and not by my flesh!"  If you will do this, then God will protect you from the "spirit of condemnation"!  I want to encourage you to say this again..."out loud"!
