T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for Aug. 22nd, 2002 T.O.D.A.Y.
Ministries Have you gotten from "desire"...to..."decision" yet? For the ones of you who are just now coming on board, we have been talking about simplifying our lives in order to enjoy our lives! This will require some changes; in fact, it might require a lot of changes. But, not to worry, The Lord will be right there to Help you. The bottom line to living a simple, stress-free life, is really very "simple"...it is all about "attitudes and priorities". These are the two areas where most people need to make changes. Change of any kind can be very challenging. So the more you need to change, the more challenges you are going to face. For example: Do you find that when someone fails to do...what you want them to...when you want them to... the way you want them to, is your reaction just a bit short of mercy and understanding? Hey! I know all about this! Been there, done that. But, one day, I made a DECISION to allow God to change what needed to be changed in me. What I needed was an "attitude adjustment", and The Lord showed me how to look at things differently....by just saying to myself, "Does this really matter?", "What difference does it make?", "No big deal!", "God is in control!" Everything may not always turn out according to "your plan", but your "attitude" will determine the effect it has on you. Have a Blessed Day!!
