T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT for April 21, 2008
T.O.D.A.Y.
Ministries
14745 Merrilltown #1611 Austin TX 78728 Good Morning!
We
have four letters left in the 'acronym' concerning what we HAVE in our
Covenant with God, and I am going to try and cover all four of them this week.
I hear that many of you are enjoying your "digging", and are finding
many "nuggets of gold" in God's treasure chest! Keep on digging!
You have only just begun! The Lord has so much for us, and He is making
it easy for us to 'uncover' that treasure chest, by giving us the Map that
shows us exactly where to look! He is so GOOD!
C
O V E N A N T When
The Holy Spirit was showing me what to use for each individual letter in the
'acronym', He said to use the word NEWNESS for this first N,
and I thought about the fact that we have entered in to this year of "new
beginnings" . . . He never ceases to amaze me! So, today we will be
finding out about Newness
of "life, and Newness
of "spirit" and Newness
of His "mercies"!
Before
I list the scriptures that pertain to those things, I want to share this with
you . . . it will help you to have a better understanding of 2
Corinthians 5:17 ~~~~ That scripture tells us that when we accept Jesus as our
Lord and Savior, we become a "new creature/creation. It goes on to
say that "old things pass away, and ALL things become NEW". What
we have to realize is this: our dead spirit will instantly become alive
unto God because we are "born again", but for all other things to
become new is exactly that . . . they will BECOME new as we "walk in
newness of life"! It will be a "process" and will be
"progressive"! We still have to "renew" our mind,
will and emotions by the Word of God! You will see what I am saying
when you begin to "dig" through the scriptures that I am going
to give you. You know what, I can see right now that what The
Lord wants me to share about this is going to take a while, so I will give you
the "scriptures" today, but I will expound on these in
tomorrow's Encouragement and will be giving you more scriptures that will open
our eyes to see what "Revelation treasure" God has for us
pertaining to Newness!
I am excited! Here are the three scriptures that relate
"respectively" to the three things that I listed next to the letter N:
Romans
6:4 Romans 7:6 Lamentations
3:23 Remember, there is so much more to share
about these 3 scriptures, and I would be remiss if I did not expound on them.
Have
a Blessed Day!! (Read
Webster's definition of "remiss")
In His Love, Luanne
