T.O.D.A.Y.'S  ENCOURAGEMENT for April 14, 2008

Good Morning!

 

Well, precious ones . . . I have been waiting for some changes to take place in my life before I felt like I was able to get back to sending out my daily Encouragements.  I was wanting to get the lenses changed on my glasses so that I could do this without the "blur" and the "headache", etc. 

But, you know what . . . I do believe that the Lord wanted me to take some time off, but not to just wait until every thing was just right!  Let me explain . . . The Lord has just shown me that it is okay to take time off from your "ministry".  HOWEVER . . . it is meant for you to "rest", not to wait until all of the "circumstances" are just right to continue with your "ministry"!  I am talking to someone today!  Are you listening?  Many of you have been "called", "anointed" and "assigned" to do something for God, and you are "waiting" until you think that you have it all together before you answer the "call"!  I am talking to someone today!  We need to have "ears to hear" what the Holy Spirit is saying to us....He may be telling us to "rest", but that does not mean that He is telling us to "wait" until our "circumstances" are just right before we start back up again!  We must be in "tune" with God's timing!  I know that I am talking to someone today!

 

So, because of the "Word" from The Lord to me today, I am going to be obedient to do what He is telling me AND you to do . . . take time to "rest", wait upon The Lord, and then make sure that you "keep on keeping on" what God has told you to do!  This "message" is as much for me as it is for you! 

 

So, now I am back and I am still "talking COVENANT"!   I started this series on March 17, in case you want to refer back to the previous messages.  Before I get back to going through each of the letters in our "acronym" COVENANT . . . .Let me remind you of two things that I have already shared with you; such as:  The Lord is "ever mindful" of His COVENANT with us! (Psalm 111:5).  And, He tells US to be "ever mindful" of His COVENANT! (1 Chronicles 16:15 ).  For those of you that do not have an Amplified Bible . . . allow me to tell you what it says in these two scriptures ~~~~

 

Psalm 111:5 says "He has given food AND provision to those that reverently fear and worship Him; He will remember His COVENANT forever and imprint it on His mind"!  1 Chronicles 16:1 tells us to "Be mindful of His COVENANT forever, the promise which He commanded and established to a thousand generations"!!!!  Glory to God!  So, how do we stay "mindful" of His COVENANT?  It is so "simple"!  Just keep saying (out loud)  I HAVE A COVENANT WITH GOD!  I HAVE A COVENANT WITH GOD!  The Lord does not have to keep "reminding" Himself about His COVENANT with us, but WE do need to keep "reminding" ourselves!  That is how we can stay "Covenant-minded"!  Much more to come . . . see you tomorrow!
