Good
Morning!
Psalms
91 . . . continues ~~~~~
I
will paraphrase verses 9 & 10 (according to the Amplified Bible) ~~~~
Verse 9 tells us that if we will make the Lord our "refuge", and if
we will make Him our "dwelling place", then we can have the Covenant
protection that the next four verses talk about! It will be a "done
deal" if you will only believe and receive! God will never
"trick" us, He cannot "lie" . . . He is trustworthy and
can be depended upon to "keep His Word"! So if you have met
the "requirements" in verse 9 . . . this is what you can be
"joyfully expecting" to come to pass in your life:
Verse
10 . . . God says that no (I repeat) NO) "evil" and NO
"plague" and NO "calamity" shall come anywhere
close to where you are! That verse actually says to your
"tent". You know what that makes me think of? When
you pitch a "tent", then that is where you have decided to
"camp out". Right? Well then, make sure that
you are "camping out" in Psalms 91:1.
This "principle"
also reminds me of Psalms 23:4 which says that we can walk through the valley
of the shadow of death and have no fear of "evil" . . . Why?
Because, we are "walking through" that situation. We are
not pitching a "tent and camping out there"! Besides all that
. . . why should we fear the "shadow" of death, if we are
abiding under the "SHADOW OF ALMIGHTY GOD"? Oh!
Come on now and Praise The Lord with me for His Covenant promises and for His
"revelation" of them to us! (By the way . . . the
"shadow" of a dog never bit anybody)! I encourage you to go
back and read Psalms 23:4 . . . a lot of people quote that scripture as saying
. . . Yea, though I walk through the valley of death. See, why it is so
important that we ask the Holy Spirit to "reveal" the Word of God to
us! Well, that is a whole 'nother "message", so I won't
go there just now.
I
am saving verse 11 for next week, because there is sooo much to share about
the "ministry of His angels". Tomorrow, I am going to
share a song that The Lord gave me many years ago, and it has to do with what Easter
is all about! See you tomorrow ~~~~~
Have
a Blessed Day!! (Stay "camped out"
under HIS shadow!) In His Love, Luanne
