Good
Morning!
Today,
let's look at Hebrews 11:1..."Now faith is the substance of things hoped
for, the evidence of things not seen". I want to expound on this verse,
one word at a time. However, let's keep first things "first".
First of all, we need to know that this kind of faith "comes by
hearing and hearing the Word of God" (Romans 10:17).
So "examine
yourselves" to see if you really have the "faith" to believe
the rest of that verse (2Corinthians 13:5). Too many times we try to
"confess" something that we want to come to pass before
we have the faith to really "believe and receive it".
With
that in mind, let us think about what this verse is saying...the
first thing it says is this: "Now faith is". That
is present tense...so it is when you are "presently" in an adverse
situation that you need to know that your "faith" is
working and bringing "substance" to the things that you are
"hoping" for! If you don't have any "hope", then
your "faith" has nothing to work with or bring
"substance" to! Then it says that it is the
"evidence (your assurance) of things not seen"! Which means
that even if you cannot see the "evidence" of what
you are hoping for...your "faith" is working to bring it to pass!
There
is so much more to share about this, so I am going to continue to talk
about it! Stay with me....the Lord wants to give us a
"revelation" of this verse that could be "life-changing"!
Have
a Blessed Day!! ("Chew" on Hebrews
11:1) In His Love, Luanne
