Good
Morning!
Yesterday, I felt led to respond to
those of you that were wanting to know where the encouragements are going...I think
it is important that I "listen" to all of you, and do my best to answer
your requests! I am here to "serve" you, not to
"ignore" you!
Meanwhile, "back at the ranch" (
I am sure that some of you will understand that "expression"
).....I will get back to what I was talking about in the encouragement that I
sent out Tuesday. It was about setting an "example" for children
and young people that we have contact with, or may have contact
with at some time in our walk here on earth. One of the things
that I mentioned was about not "throwing rocks" at our sisters
and brothers in the family of God!
In Biblical times, throwing rocks or
stones was a way of "condemning" people for their actions.
If any of you have been watching the "news", you have seen the
people in Iraq throwing rocks at our troops (this may help you
understand why they are doing that). However, Jesus
said....."let him who is without sin, throw a
stone".
When we "judge or criticize"
other Christians, we are "throwing rocks" at them and putting them
under condemnation. I am not saying that we have to
"approve" of everything they say or do...just be careful about
"throwing rocks"!
God does not "approve" of
everything we say or do, but He never "condemns"
us! He does not "throw rocks" at us!
Tomorrow, I will share one on my songs
with you, that will let us see clearly what the Bible has to say about this!
Have
a Blessed Day!! (Put your
"rocks" down! ) In His Love, Luanne
