Morning!
I
will never get tired of talking about how important it is for us to
simplify our lives!
Complication
always causes "frustration" and when we are frustrated, then we are
hindered from obtaining our desired results!
Everytime
I use the word "frustration", I think about what it is like to try
and find the starting place on a new roll of toilet paper while sitting in a
dark bathroom...(I have shared this illustration before). But, it is such a
practical example of how we can avoid "frustration". All we
have to do is just "simply" take the time to turn on the light
first!
Now,
let's take this example, and apply it to other situations in our life....when
we become frustrated, we find ourselves "struggling", right?
Well let me share what the Apostle Paul has to say about this.....
In
Galatians, chapter 2, he is talking about the struggle
that some people have with "justification", but in verse 21, he sums
it up by saying, "I am not going to frustrate the
grace of God". Stay with me on this......it is very
"simple"! Anytime we are "struggling" with
something, we are "hindering" the grace of God to work in our lives!
God's "grace" is His supernatural power to change the natural!
We NEED God's grace in our life.....He told us in 2Corinthians that His
"grace" was sufficient for us! Sufficient means....anything
and everything we need!
God makes everything so "simple"
for us....His
Word is the "light switch"....take time to TURN IT ON! More
