Good
Morning!
I
will never forget when the Lord started dealing with me about making
"changes". He let me know (through this example), how
"stubborn" we can be about changing the way we have always done
something! Bear with me as I share this story, which is only an
"example" of how we balk when we are confronted with changing
our way of doing things~~~~~
One day, my sister told me about
"shower gel and little net poufs".....my reaction was this: I
am perfectly happy with a wash rag and a bar of soap...I take my bar of soap
and lather it up in my wash rag, bathe myself, rinse all of the soap out of my
wash rag, and then use the "soapless" wash rag to rinse my self off.
That is what I wanted to continue to do......however, I did not want to hurt
my sister's feelings, so I told her I would try what she had
suggested.
Well, needless to say, (you have probably
already guessed it by now), I have been using shower gels and little net poufs
ever since! SIMPLE IS GOOD! Here is the good news~~~~the next day,
I was scheduled to speak at a meeting, and the subject that God gave me to
preach on was......BE WILLING TO MAKE CHANGES!
What I have shared with you today, is just
one example of how making "changes" can simplify our lives. This
example may not seem very "spiritual" to you, but you need to
remember......we are "building" on a scriptural foundation, so there
is more to come~~~~~~
