T.O.D.A.Y.'S ENCOURAGEMENT ( Intimacy ) for 4/25/2018

Did you know that when we ask Holy Spirit for His help, that it pleases Him? Oh yes! He loves it when we ask Him to be included and involved in everything we do. In fact, I believe it saddens Him when we do NOT ask Him for His help, advice, and wisdom. However, He will wait for us to ask Him.
I can remember back when I was not not continually "aware of His Presence", or of knowing that He wanted to help me. So, I would struggle and stress out over certain situations that I was having trouble with. I still have a tendency sometimes to go that way, but now I stop and remember that I don't have to do that anymore. I realize how foolish that is when all I have to do is just ask the One that is "a very present help in times of need"! (Psalm 46:1)
The Word of God tells us to have child-like "faith", NOT child-like "attitudes"! If we still have the "I'll do it myself, I'll do it myself" attitude, then we have not matured in the ways of God. Think about it! The Word of God also tells us that He will give us both the desire and the ability to do what pleases Him. (Phil.2:13) He does it by the Holy Spirit that is "within" us and also "with" us! He is so AWESOME! Can I get an Amen? More to come.....
