In my last message I was talking
about the words that come out of our
mouth should line up with the Word
of God. For too many years, I spoke
negatively about my situations and
did not realize that I was creating
them with my own words! I am so
thankful to God that He has revealed
to me that if I wanted situations to
change, then I would have to change
what I was thinking and saying. He
revealed this to me through His
written Word and by the prompting of
the Holy Spirit! Many times we want
things and people and circumstances
to change, and don't realize that
we, ourselves, need to be willing to
change first!
I know for a fact, that I could
never have changed the "habit" of
saying certain things that were
contrary to the Word of God until
I realized that I would have to have
"help". Some of you may be
there...you want to change, but
can't seem to do it by yourself.
Well, guess what! He has given you
all the help you need and that
help is.... guess who? Our
wonderful personal "Helper", the
Holy Spirit!! He is right there
with you 24/7, and just waiting for
you to "ask" Him to help you make
the changes that you need to make!
Praise God forever!!!
There are many scriptures in
God's written Word about our "words"
and the power of the "tongue", and
those scriptures make us aware of
the "dangers" or the "benefits". We
need to "listen up" to what God has
to say about those things. That
needs to come first. However, what
has helped me the most, is my
becoming continually aware of His
"Presence"! What an awesome
privilege it is to have an intimate
relationship with Holy Spirit, my
personal "Helper"! More to
